Hello! Just a note that Mama J’s Parenting Posts is on hold while this blogger/author puts her energy toward completing the book, Stepparenting the Grieving Child: Knowledge to improve your stepfamily life right now. For the latest book and author information, please go to my newly updated website at www.dianefromme.com.
I look forward to more parenting and stepparenting posts in celebration of this project’s completion!
Mama J (Diane Fromme) is an avid observer, journalist, and lifelong student of family relationships and dynamics. In Stepparenting the Grieving Child, the views and perspectives she shares come from 20+ years of stepparenting two children who lost their mother to cancer.

What kind of oddball writer replies to her own post almost one year later? Well, you many not hear from me three times per week this year, but rather in less predictable ways. Most weeks I’ll offer a stepparenting post, but the economy has forced me to take on more billable hours and so a lot of my creative energy has gone that direction. Still, there is a lot of great material in the archives, and I hope you enjoy perusing a year’s worth of thoughts about raising girls.
Hi, it’s me again. If you go to the “About” tab to the right of the orange RSS button, you’ll learn that I’m back blogging on Wednesdays in 2011! Thanks to ReMarriage Works magazine for voting me a top ten remarriage blogger of 2010. Catch you on the net!
Are you open to stepparent/kids fun book reviews? If so – could you advise how I can best arrange? Many thanks!
